UPDATE:
The new year has come and I am getting motivated to revamp and redesign this website. It has been so long since it was modernized that it is now in need of a serious makeover. Hopefully, as time allows, it will get a new facelift.
UPDATE:
Where
to begin? So much has been happening that
I haven't had a chance to update the site
in some time.
Here
is a very brief recap of any new related
developments:
I
have received professional training in hypnosis
and NLP (NeuroLinguistic Programming) from
The Infinity Institute in Michigan. I am
now a Certified Hypnotherapist (C.Ht.) as
well as a Certified NLP Practitioner.
I
am currently being trained in REIKI, Usui
Reiki, to become a Certified Reiki Master
Teacher. Reiki is a Japanese healing art
that uses subtle energies to promote physical,
mental and emotional well-being. You can
expect more info on Reiki to be added to
the site as my training progresses. In fact,
I may create an entirely new site that will
be dedicated to Reiki information and Reiki
training.
The
Brainwave
Mind Voyages website has now developed
into one of the premiere online sources
for brainwave entrainment products. We now
offer over thirty hypnosis and brainwave
entrainment CDs on a wide variety of
interesting subjects (lucid dreaming, out
of body experiences, remote viewing, meditation
and more). We have just released 12 new
CDs so the current collection contains 30
BMV CDs!
We
also have recently remastered all of our
subliminal brainwave entrainment CDs and
re-released them as our new BMV
QUANTUM SUBLIMINAL CDs. There are now hundreds of subliminal CDs that address almost
any topic that you would ever need including
lucid dreaming, astral projection/out of
body experiences, trance, psychic development,
meditation and more.

UPDATE:
It
has been quite some time since the last
update so I will do my best to fill you
in on the details. A lot of great things
have been unfolding. I am taking classes
from The
Infinity Institute to become
certified as a hypnotherapist. The classes
are phenomenal with great presentaion and
hands-on experiential learning from Dr.
Anne Spencer. If you live in Michigan, I
highly recommend looking into hypnosis training
at The
Infinity Institute. Hypnosis seems
to be the natural progression of my current
path. I look forward to incorporating what
I learn into this lucid dreaming site in
the METHODS section (coming soon).
My
hypnosis training has definitely added some
hypnotherapeutical power to my new
BMV CDs. Speaking of which, The
new BMV releases are out! There are
four new CDs:
Series 10: The Lucid Dream Hypnosis CD,
Series 12: The Dream Incubation Cd: Guided
Dream Induction, Series 20: The BREATHING
CD and Series 21: BREATHWORK YOGA CD. Right
now, I have yet to update the BMV
site to let everyone know they are available,
but they are linked for online purchasing
at the BMV
online purchase page for those who are
interested. The response has been great
and I hope you enjoy them. More BMV releases
are planned with The SHAMANIC TRANCE CD
and The ASTRAL BODY CD poised to be released
next, probably in early May.
I
also have created a new line of subliminal

I
am very excited to expand into the self-help
industry by offering state-of-the-art brainwave
entrainment CDs that make use of hypnosis,
NLP, subliminal messages and targetted split-ear
scripted subliminals. These professional
strength psychoacoustic audiotools will
be available for personal and professional
use. There will also be a line of hypnotherapeutic
tools designed specifically for professional
hypnotherapists to use in their practices.
Currently, the first releases are been mastered
and are nearing release. (UPDATE:
SUBLIMINAL CDs ARE AVAILABLE - OVER 150+
TITLES!). The most likely
candidates for initial release are the following
topics: WEIGHT LOSS, STOP SMOKING , STRESS
REDUCTION and ACCELERATED LEARNING. There
will be many more AE CDs TO COME.
I
am still finalizing
the ultimate lucid dreaming software program.
(UPDATE: SOFTWARE IS NOW
COMPLETE AND AVAILABLE TOTHE PUBLIC) In
fact, to the best of my knowledge I am not
aware of any other program that compares
to it. Once it is ready for reease I will
add an update and modify the site accordingly.
The
ADVANCED DREAM DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: LUCID
DREAM TRAINING is an interactive
software program that walks the user through
the lucid dreaming process. From having
no prior dreaming knowledge to taking more
advanced dreamskills like flying and out
of body experiences, the user is guided
through the entire learning process leaving

simulators, 3-D Visualization exercises

Season's
Greetings!
The
site has now reached top ranking in Google, the
best search engine on the web. It is also #1 on
MSN. In fact, if you just type "lucid dreaming"
into your browser on IE, it will take you to the
search with this site at the top of the list!
Hopefully, this will help spread some awareness
and help us gain some more members to our dream
research and mailing lists. The more, the merrier!
There are plans for some more fun stuff to be
added soon to the site, but I have several projects
in the works that has been taking most of my time.
UPDATE:
The
new
releases at BMV are almost ready for release!
Other good news: I was contacted by SoundsTrue
Publishing to create a six tape audio-learning
course for lucid dreaming. I am very excited about
this and will keep you posted as things develop.
UPDATE:
The
entire site has received a makeover! Based on
some input from other dreamers, this new
website layout was created to I hope you
enjoy it and please do share your thoughts on
the new layout and design by sending me an
email with your thoughts.

I
uploaded a 15
minute RealAudio file as an audio
introduction to the site. You can click

and I plan to add a few more as time allows, so

added. I am also planning an overhaul for the
main page at the site, but it will be done on
an as-time-is-available basis.

Wheel
of Fortune Update:
I went and taped the show, but un-Fortune-ately,
I was not the big winner. In fact, I did not even
solve a single puzzle. The Wheel was rather brutal
to me, but all-in-all it was a great experience,
and I would not change it for the world (aside
from losing part :)
I did get a chance to talk about lucid dreaming
with Pat Sajak on national television, so I guess
it was worth the trip. I will be uploading a video
of the introduction scene to the website once
I have it digitized. If you want to check out
the show , it will air on November 27, 2001.
At least, that is the date they have told
me, but I am not sure if the recent attacks have
changed programming schedules. I would also like
to thank everyone who wrote with their support!

UPDATE:
In
light of the recent tragedy and the attacks
of terrorism, I would like to express my
deepest sympathies to the victims of these senseless
acts of violence. May you keep them in your hearts
and hold them in your thoughts. Hopefully, we
can band together, dream a brighter future, and
go about creating a world where freedom, democracy
and peace can be experienced by all citizens and
all nations without the discrimination, suffering
and fear that often plagues our modern world.
We are all one people, one nation, one race of
Homo Sapiens. May this wisdom be the foundation
for all of our future growth.

NEWSFLASH:
I will be out of town from August 28 to September
6, 2001.
I was chosen to be a contestant
on
The WHEEL OF FORTUNE!
The show is being taped on August 31, 2001 so
please send me out some positive energy. I will
post a message letting everyone know when it will
be aired on TV. It should be on somettime next
month. Check back in about a week for more info...Needless
to say, I am ecstatic about being on the show
and have done numerous reality checks upon receiving
the news that I was selected. It really goes to
show that your DREAMS CAN and DO COME TRUE. If
you have dreams and follow them, it is only a
matter of time before you begin LIVING THEM as
they manifest in marvelously synchronistic ways.
The nature of reality is the fabric of dreams!!!
UPDATE:
A lot of great
things have been happening here at Bird's
Lucid Dreaming website. Our
research group, The
Dream Initiative, recently accepted
our 200th member,
(UPDATE: NOW OVER 1,600 MEMBERS!)
and big plans are in the works for some
interesting upcoming projects. I am in the
process of redesigning this entire site
and uploading and relinking it to our new
server. This should substantially improve
your experience here by removing the banners,
bad links and boggingly slow download times
for some pages.
Our
new messageboard is finally up and running after
being shut down by BESEEN. The new
messageboard is hosted by another free
server and does not really seem to be as nice
as the last one since it only holds messages for
a month, but we can make do with it until I find
another solution. I hope that everyone starts
using it as frequently as the old one. I did manage
to save the old posts but was not able to transfer
them into the new one, but you can read the old
archives through the link I have posted at the
new
messageboard.
This
site has been a true labor of love and I
am happy to keep it maintained and growing
as my free time allows. I am currently
creating an all Flash website:www.consciousdreaming.com
to
serve as a natural extension of this site. I considered
moving this site to the new domain, but I feel
I should leave this site as it is to mark the
beginning and take the next site to a higher level
of application, a completely new state-of-the-art
website. Bird's Lucid Dreaming Website could serve
as the Basic Training Grounds with consciousdreaming.com
serving as an extended developmental plan.
This
new site will have an emphasis on more advanced
lucid dreaming skills, methods and techniques
as well as high-tech and low tech awareness
aids such as biofeedback machines, light-sound
mind machines, brainwave entrainment, hypnosis,
subliminals, energy work, breathwork, acupuncture
and a host of other interestingly related
topics. Check out the www.consciousdreaming.com
website (UPDATE: NOW UP AND
RUNNING) in a few months to see how
things are coming along . . . as of now
it is simply the intro and a semi-made main
page. No links are working yet though....
The
Brainwave
Mind Voyages site is now fully Flash-enhanced
and ready for your awareness. Considering
the fact that BMV has only been in existence
for 2 years, the feedback
from users that I have received is absolutely
tremendous!
It
makes me smile from ear to ear with every
email. The original two brainwave entrainment
CDs have evolved into a growing line of
perceptual tools. The new CD releases are
continuing to receive rave
reviews and I just received my 300th
positive feedback
at eBay with no negatives! (UPDATE:
WE NOW HAVE OVER 10,000 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS!)
There

will be coming out within the next month
or so, and I am weeks away from unleashing

I
have recently acquired an incredible tool for
monitoring and maneuvering one's mindstates. It
is a biofeedback device
called The
Mind Mirror III. Check out the previous
link for more detailed information on the unit.
I am extremely excited to begin experimenting
and training with it. I will add a page outlining
my experiences once I have enough time to start
working with it. I can hardly wait!
I
am also beginning to research
acupuncture and the effects that electro-acupuncture
may have upon our consciousness, dreaming and
overall well-being. I have acquired a Model 6805-A
electro-acupuncture unit with T.E.N.S. capabilities.
I believe that incorporating acupuncture and energy
bodywork into the awareness training process will
be beneficial.
